What is Sound Healing?

Sound Healing is the therapeutic approach that uses sound as a vehicle and tool for healing. Sound is organised and structured to restore our balance and bring back the natural vibrations of our organs through the principle of resonance.

How does it work?

Various musical instruments are used in the practice of Sound Healing, each with its own therapeutic value and ability to create different experiences. The Sound Therapist may use specific rhythms and frequencies to lower the brainwave activity from the beta state (normal consciousness) to the theta state (relaxed consciousness), and even to the delta state (deep sleep).

Who is it for?

No previous musical knowledge is required.

The Sound Healing Training is intended for anyone who recognises the potential of Sound as a tool for healing, spiritual connection, and personal and human development.

This level deepens the practices required to carry out gong baths, meditations, and sound therapies, with advanced techniques for both individual and group sessions.

Advanced and integrated practices for:

Opening the sacred healing space
Conducting gong baths
Meditations with a therapeutic focus

Sound massage with Tibetan bowls
Therapeutic sessions with multiple instruments
Gong Puja for extended practices

Exploration and technical mastery of:

Native and Andean flutes in therapeutic contexts
Shamanic drum in meditations and ceremonies
Shell as an instrument for energetic cleansing
Sacred chants and practices such as kirtans and satsangs
Conscious breathing techniques
Body postures for sound sessions
Guided relaxation for groups and individual sessions

The Cosmic Gong Sound Healing Training is structured into four levels of knowledge, allowing for solid and in-depth progression. The universe of Sound Healing offers multiple possibilities for application, and by completing all modules, participants develop full competencies to work confidently across various therapeutic and musical contexts.

Each participant receives a complete theoretical manual to support their learning journey, as well as a certificate of completion validating their training.

Throughout the course, we provide all necessary instruments and accessories, ensuring a practical and enriching experience from the very first moment.

Professional Level

Purpose

This level prepares the student to work professionally in individual and group therapies, deepening knowledge in physical and energetic anatomy, healing frequencies, and the creation of sacred spaces for transformation.

What You Will Learn in Level 3

Advanced techniques for:

Individual sound therapy sessions
Principles of ethical and professional conduct in sound therapy
Use of the gong in ceremonies and rituals
Specific practices for births and transitional moments
Preparation for group performances and presentations

Specialised theoretical support:

The gong as a healing instrument in shamanic practices
In-depth studies on the therapeutic effects of instruments
Cosmic Gong teaching methodology and pedagogy
Ethics and professional conduct as a sound therapist

Level 4

Master Level

Requirement

Completion of Levels 1, 2, and 3

Duration

4 intensive days

Purpose

This level prepares the student to work as a trainer under the Cosmic Gong Method, with the ability to lead Gong, Tibetan Bowl, and Sound Healing courses with an integrated vision and ethical responsibility.

What You Will Learn in Level 4

Training and pedagogical competencies for:

Leading Gong courses
Guiding training in Tibetan Bowls
Delivering complete Sound Healing courses using the Cosmic Gong methodology

Specialised theoretical support:

Cosmic Gong’s exclusive teaching pedagogy and method
Ethics and professional conduct as a teacher or trainer

To complete this stage, the student must complete ninety hours of mentoring, actively participating in Cosmic Gong courses under the direct guidance of Master Ângelo Surinder, ensuring practical and conscious integration of the teaching methodology.
